  • Just like when you visit the doctor's office, your personal information and medical records will remain strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent or only in the case of emergencies. Any medical information that you provide, including through the intake forms, will be stored in our password protected and HIPAA compliant electronic medical record and will not be stored on this or any other website.

    For all private patient information, please communicate with us through the Patient Portal, to which patients are invited by email after scheduling with us. Do not send private patient information through our “Contact Me” page.

    If you subscribe to our newsletter or sign up for our promotions/offers, your email and/or phone number will be safely stored on our website to receive promotional emails and/or text campaigns, and you may choose to unsubscribe anytime.

Being Well is committed to protecting the privacy of your health information. We encourage you to participate in virtual visits from a private location and to protect your personal devices and internet connections.

Complaints
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with Being Well or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. You will not be retaliated against for filing a complaint.
